EPDM ROOFING SYSTEM INSTALLATION Our installation process, though specialist, is incredibly simple. Having taken precise measurements of your roof during a free survey, a custom fit panel of Firestone EPDM rubber is cut back at our yard and brought to your home IN ONE PIECE! Our rolls of Firestone EPDM are an incredible 12 metres wide and 30 metres long, so there are very few roofs that we cannot install IN ONE PIECE! The existing roof is stripped off and removed so that the timber beneath can be inspected. Any rotten timber is removed where necessary and replaced with waterproof boarding. The Firestone EPDM rubber is then positioned on the roof. One half is pulled back on itself and a special liquid rubber adhesive is roller applied to the timber deck. The process is then repeated on the other half of the roof. Once complete, specially designed, attractive roof trims and flashing details are attached to the roof perimeter. Awkward details including skylights, pipes, outlets etc. are no problem. Our specialist installers will weld new details on site to ensure weather tightness. The work area is then tidied and an invoice is posted to you. Once paid for, your roof is guaranteed watertight for 20 YEARS.
