Why Firestone EPDM?

EPDM rubber was developed in the USA over 35 years ago. Designed to withstand the tough climates of Alaska and Mexico etc., it offers outstanding durability and is perfect for any type of flat or gently sloping roof.

Widely specified in the U.K. by architects for various prestigious commercial installations due to its high specification and quality assurance, Firestone EPDM is now laid on domestic roofs by Avenir Roofing.

Thousands of millions of square metres of EPDM have been successfully installed worldwide over the last 30 years. 200 million square metres are installed annually, making it the most widely used roofing system in the world.

Firestone EPDM is tough and withstands severe temperature fluctuations (-30° C to +100° C) with no sign of ageing. It is UV stable, unlike bitumen felt, even under exposure to intense sunlight.

Firestone EPDM installed by Avenir Roofing is clean and safe with no messy boiling bitumen. Chippings are not needed so no more blocked gutters or unsightly mess.
